Prints can be ordered for any image on the site that allows it. Most images are available for printing, but some are not.
Watch this short video or just read the text below.
To add a print to the shopping cart, navigate to a gallery then click on an image thumbnail to open the large expanded view. In that view, look at the bottom of the image for a small “shopping cart” icon. (If you do not see the icon, the image is not for sale.)
Click the icon to open the Add to Cart view on the side of the screen. Here, you can click the Quantity “+” symbol to add one or more prints in your desired size and print type. Then click Add to Cart to update your cart.
If you want prints of other images, navigate to that image and repeat the process. There is no way to add multiple images at once at this time.
When you are ready either click the “View Cart / Checkout” button on the Add Prints section, or click the cart icon in the upper right corner of the website.
Please be careful to enter your correct address you want the prints shipped to, as well as email address and name. Phone number is optional.
Economy shipping is cheapest, and should take around 6-10 days to arrive.
When ready click Pay With Card. The next screen is an encrypted and secure Stripe checkout and accepts debit and credit cards.
You then receive an email receipt for your order. That’s it. Thanks for ordering!
About the Prints
Currently, the print system is automatically fulfilled by White House Custom Color (WHCC). They take my original full size images, print them and ship direct to you.
From the WHCC website:
Our full service lab offers 100% color accuracy, quality-assured prints, and first-class finishing services. We value the perfect color match, printing true to the files you submit.
Our Photographic Prints have a longevity of 100 years in typical display conditions and 200 years in dark storage. Professional photographers around the world trust us to consistently deliver the highest quality archival prints.
We print our Lustre, Glossy, and Metallic photographic prints on Kodak Endura Professional Papers.
I currently offer the Fuji Lustre prints. This print type is a semi-gloss. So, in between a matte and full gloss surface. The blacks are dark and the contrast is medium high. I have ordered prints in this surface and I’m satisfied with the results being fairly close to the original image.
If you are un-sure about the image quality, I suggest ordering a few small test prints in 4×6 to see how they look.
If you really want a more matte or gloss look, I can enable those print types for specific galleries. I just turned them off to make things simpler. The matte prints are a fully matte non reflective surface and have a softer look with lighter darks.
Order at your own risk. I cannot offer refunds unless the print is clearly damaged or faulty.
